The below are notes I took while enrolled in the edX course DelftX ECOBuild1x. While serving as a good reminder to myself of the contents of the course, they're likely of limited value to anyone else. I hope to write a more informative review of the course soon.
The first course in the edX Professional Certificate Program Buildings as Sustainable Energy Systems.
These courses are based on a classic system engineering approach. The system being looked at is the physical building with its energy systems, occupants, and HVAC systems.
The present course is focused on how building design and occupancy determines the energy demand in buildings. The focus is on the energy needs and thermal behavior of buildings.
